🔹 What Is a Clay Bar Treatment?

A clay bar is a specially formulated detailing clay used to deep-clean your paintwork by removing bonded surface contaminants that normal washing can’t touch.
Even after a full wash, tiny particles such as tar, tree sap, brake dust, industrial fallout, and road film can remain stuck to the paint. These make the surface feel rough and cause dullness over time.

A clay bar works by grabbing and lifting those contaminants out of the clear coat when it’s gently rubbed across the paint surface with lubricant (usually a clay lube or quick detailer).

Think of it like a deep exfoliation for your car’s paint it leaves the surface smooth, clean, and ready for polishing or waxing.
